This Privacy Policy explains what personal information SearchForPlayer2 collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions. This policy is published in English; where a translation is made available, the English version governs.
SearchForPlayer2 is a dating and social app where people connect by playing collaborative games. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation we are the data controller of the personal information described below.
SearchForPlayer2 is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and no part of the app — discovery, games, matching or chat — is available until a user has passed our identity and age check. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we terminate it and delete the associated data.
To keep minors off SearchForPlayer2, every user must submit a photo of a valid, government-issued ID showing their photograph and date of birth. We ask for your explicit consent in the app before you upload it.
Your ID image is read by automated verification software, which checks that the document is government-issued, contains a photo and a date of birth, is not expired, appears genuine, and that the date of birth makes you 18 or older. The image is never shown to other users, never used for advertising and never sold.
Retention. We do not keep your ID image. It is used only to make the verification decision, and our reference to it is discarded as soon as that decision is made. What we keep is the outcome of the check — verified or not verified, and the reason if it was not — together with the date it was made.
Deleting it. Because the image is not retained, there is nothing to delete. You can ask us to clear the verification record itself at any time using Contact Us in Settings. If you do, we may need to close your account, because we cannot keep an unverified adult on the platform.
Because the check is automated, you can ask us to have the decision reviewed by a person — contact support and we will look at it again. As we no longer hold the image, you may be asked to submit your document a second time.
Voice clips are optional. When you record one, you are consenting to it being transmitted to and stored by us so it can be played back to the person you are talking to. Clips are held for as long as the conversation they belong to exists, and are deleted when you delete your account. Only the two people in the conversation can play them back. Please do not record anyone else’s voice or share a clip of another person without their permission.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private messages or voice clips for advertising.
Two parts of SearchForPlayer2 use automated processing, and you should know about both.
Age and identity checks. Your ID image is read by automated verification software, and that software makes the initial decision on whether it passes. You can ask for a human review (section 4).
Conversation review. When someone files a report, our safety team is able to review the full communication history between the two accounts — messages, game events and voice clips. Automated tools may be used to help summarise or triage that history so reports are handled faster. This only happens for a conversation that has been reported, and the outcome is always decided by a person.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights: to know what we hold about you and get a copy of it, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data deleted, to receive it in a portable format, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent you have given.
You can delete your account and its content at any time from Settings → Delete Account. For anything else — a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your verification record — use Contact Us in Settings. We will respond within the timeframe required by your local law, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, see section 11.
If you live in California, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and why, to request a copy of it, to ask us to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information (such as your government ID or precise location) for any purpose beyond providing and securing the service. Exercise any of these rights through Contact Us in Settings.
We protect your information with access controls, private storage for sensitive files such as your ID image while it is being checked, encryption in transit, and limiting access to the people who need it. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password and never share your sign-in details.
We and our providers may process your information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where personal information from the EU or UK is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
For any privacy question or request, use Contact Us in Settings. Please tell us what you are asking for so we can route it to the right person. Support is currently available in English only.
