Community Guidelines

Last updated: September 2026

SearchForPlayer2 pairs strangers, so a small number of clear rules matter more here than almost anywhere else. These guidelines apply to everything you do on the app — your profile, your games, your messages and your voice clips — and they form part of our Terms & Conditions. This page also explains how reporting and moderation actually work.

1. The rules

  • Be a real adult. You must be 18 or older and use your own identity. Impersonating someone, using someone else’s ID, or misrepresenting your age gets an account permanently removed.
  • Be decent. Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, and discrimination are not allowed.
  • Respect consent. No unwanted sexual content, no sexual pressure, and no sending explicit images to someone who has not asked for them.
  • Play fair. Do not cheat, farm invites, run scams, or ask other users for money.
  • Keep other people’s information private. Do not share someone’s contact details, photos, screenshots of conversations, or voice clips without their permission.
  • Do not record or share someone else’s voice without their permission.
  • No spam or promotion — no advertising, no links to other dating services, no recruiting.
  • Do not break the app — no scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to get around access controls or subscription limits.
  • Off-platform pressure. If someone pushes you to move to another app or send money, report it.

2. Zero tolerance

  • Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving a minor, in any form — including a profile photo, a message, a drawing, or an attempt to involve a minor in a conversation.
  • Credible threats of violence, or content that incites violence against a person or group.
  • Non-consensual intimate images, or threats to share them.
  • Any attempt by a person under 18 to use the app, or by an adult to help one do so.

The following result in immediate, permanent removal and, where required, a report to law enforcement. There is no warning and no appeal for the first two.

3. Reporting someone

  • Report User — inside any conversation, on the other person’s profile. You confirm the report and describe what happened.
  • Contact Us — in Settings, for anything else, including a report about someone you are no longer connected to, a payment issue, or a problem with your own verification.

You have two ways to raise something with us:

4. What we can see when you report

When you submit a Report User, our safety team is granted access to the full communication history between you and the reported account — the messages, game events and voice clips exchanged in that conversation. This is deliberate: reviewing only the message that upset you would miss patterns of behaviour. Automated tools may help us summarise or triage that history so we can act faster, but a person makes the decision.

Only the conversation you reported is opened, the review is confidential, and it is done solely to assess the report. Our Privacy Policy describes this in more detail.

5. What happens after you report

  • We review the reported conversation and any earlier reports about the same account.
  • We may warn the account, restrict what it can do, suspend it, or remove it permanently.
  • We may tell you that your report was actioned, but we cannot share what we did to the other person’s account.
  • Where we see an immediate risk to someone’s safety, we may contact emergency services or the relevant authority.
  • Deliberately filing a false or malicious report is itself a breach of these guidelines.

6. Appeals

If your account was actioned and you believe we got it wrong, use Contact Us in Settings and tell us what happened. A person will look at the decision again. Accounts removed for child sexual abuse material or credible threats of violence are not eligible for reinstatement.

7. Contact us

Anything in these guidelines can be raised with us through Contact Us in Settings, including reporting content you have seen. Support is currently available in English only.
